become a new creation

Our Creator wants to become our personal loving Father, by causing us to be born into His spiritual family. Without this we cannot know Him - He is "out there" and separated from us. The spiritual birth brings us into eternal life, where He comes to dwell within us. We can then come to know Him, and engage with His nature to experience deep personal wholeness. Outside of this, we will never find our true identity and purpose.

The Bible reveals that a special work was performed by Jesus Christ to open the way for us. Jesus is introduced as a human manifestation of God Himself, born through a miraculous conception in His mother, Mary. Through His humanity, He could identify with us, and die a physical death on a cross to bring an end to our broken old humanity. He was buried, but then rose again victorious. Through what He did, He opened the way for us to join with Him in His resurrected reality. A victorious new life is ours!

This can be hard to understand at first, but there will be plenty of time to explore this more. However, taking the first step is crucial and actually very simple. You can move into this spiritual birth in simple faith now if you like. Look at these brief bible quotes that reveal this:

"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved (made whole)." (Acts 16:31)

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12-13)

Agreeing with God and aligning with His will is a secure place to be. We can be sure good things will happen! Here is a simple prayer you can pray to respond to those quotes personally. You don't need to do anything to prepare, or go to any special place. Come as you are, wherever you are:

“Father God, thank you that you love me and opened the way for me into a new creation. Lord Jesus thank you so much for dying for me. I believe you rose from the dead, and I receive You now. Father please bring me Your spiritual birth, so I can know You and be one with You forever!”

Some people feel emotion, like relief, peace, or even joy. Perhaps a sense of inner forgiveness and assurance. Others don't feel anything straight away, but enter more as if through a gradual "dawn".
